About general practice 'Mozaiek'

Mozaiek is a general and family practice in Rotterdam, open for local residents and visitors from other areas. We focus on all common diseases and conditions. We are proud to give a personal touch. If possible, we favour a natural approach towards healing.
Mozaiek is officially accredited by the Dutch Board of General Physicians (NHG). We comply with all requirements of safety, hygiene and innovation. We work with all hospitals in Rotterdam. When necessary, emergency referrals will be carried out. To improve communications, we use a direct internet connection with many hospitals in the area.
 
Specific attention is given to the prevention of metabolic syndrome, diabetes, lung disease, heart disease, cosmetic surgery, orthopedic care, wound care, nutrition and mental health.
 
At present, the staff consists of three GP’s, several nurse practitioners and supporting staff members. The practice is open on weekdays from 08.00 till 17.00.

Consultations without booking
Open Hours: daily from 8.00 - 10.00. This service is available for all health problems, acute or chronic. The mean waiting time at peak hour is approximately 25 minutes. You will first be assessed by a nurse or assistant, and during the consultation the GP will join in for advice and conclusion.

Consultations with booking:
If you do not want to use the Open Hours system you can book a regular appointment, at the counter, by telephone or through our website.

Evening consultations:
Twice a month we offer an evening consultation hour from 17.30 till 19.00, for people who cannot make appointments during daytime.
 
Home calls:
If your condition is serious, we visit you at home. Due to traffic limitations, we will be able to accept home calls in Rotterdam South only.

Chronic prescriptions and test results.
Through our website you can request a prescription or ask about a test. You can also leave a message on our voice mail, telephone number 010-4847331. You can pick up your prescription at your local pharmacy the next day.

Emergency
You can call Praktijk Mozaiek throughout the day for emergencies. Please use the emergency number: 010 - 48 47 332.
In the evening and in the weekends you can call any number of Praktijk Mozaiek and you will automatically be directed to the Nightcare (Huisartsenpost Zuid), at the Maasstadziekenhuis, Dordtsestraatweg 45 in Rotterdam. You can also reach Nightcare by direct call at 010 - 290 98 88.

Co-operation with other GP’s
On rare occasions, Praktijk Mozaiek may be closed for the public. In that case, patients will be referred to a colleague GP. You will be directed to this service with help of a professional answering service. This service can also be reached directly through tel. nr. 010-286 50 50.
